Wen-Parker India (WPL) has been awarded an NVOCC license in Chennai after a detailed assessment and study by Indian Customs. The NVOCC license will allow WPL to expand their portfolio of services for Inbound and Outbound cargo in Chennai.
“Wen-Parker’s strategically located CFS will help facilitate services using leading edge technology to do: buyer consolidations, container stuffing, container pick up, customs clearance and delivery,” states Vikas Khullar Managing Director, South Asia Region for Wen-Parker India.
Chennai is one of six stations in India and part of a 26-office network for Wen-Parker Logistics worldwide. Other stations in India are: Bangalore, Cochin, Hyderabad, Mumbai and New Delhi. Wen-Parker Logistics is also in the process of securing a license for Mumbai to further expand their service network.
